I said to a friend today, "Trial and error is the way of life, so no worries." And then I got to thinking, and then I got all riled up about it and wrote a bunch of things down, and this is what it said:
Why are we so afraid to fail? We wouldn't accomplish anything, ever, if we never tried. Why are we so afraid?
I say go for it. Try life. Give living a chance. And when you fail, fail horribly in all your glory! Fail miserably and be proud. You've already gone further than most of the human race.
And then try again. What's the big deal? Are we saving up all of our "tries" like we've got a limited number of them? Because we don't! We can try and fail as much as we like!
Are we worried about being embarrassed because it didn't work? Why? Everyone else is just so worried about the rest of us looking at and judging them, no one is actually paying anyone else any attention at all! And even when they do notice and point at you, failing, it is just out of relief because they know that, at least for the moment, the focus isn't on them. Which it never was in the first place.
The point is... get inspired and run with it. There really is nothing holding you back, even if you think there is. The illusion, or even delusion, of "no you can't" only exists because someone, somewhere, at some point in your life said you/people can't just do whatever they want or dream. And to that person I say, "Who the hell are you?"
It is no one's right but my own to determine how I will live my life. I will try and I will fail and it will be awesome.
